  1. Where is the range located?
  2. From I-55 take Fruitland exit (105) and go north on highway 61. Follow highway 61 to State Route C. Right on Route C to Route CC near New Wells. Follow CC 3.2 miles to the entrance on right side of CC. This range is in the Apple Creek Conservation Area. Watch for sign "Shooting Range." You can also visit www.claytargetsonline.com for more information and a map to the range.

  3. What are the hours of operation?
  4. The facility will be open to the public for trap and skeet shooting from March 1st through November 30th each year. During those months, the range will observe the following regular public shooting hours: Saturday: 10AM - 5PM Sunday: 1PM - 5PM During periods of inclement weather, the range may be closed.

  5. Are you open year-round?
  6. The trap and skeet ranges close to the public during December, January and February.

  7. Does it cost anything to shoot?
  8. Trap or Skeet shooting - $4.00 per round of 25 targets. Rates are subject to change. We accept Cash only, Personal Checks and Credit Cards are not accepted. Gift cards are also available.

  9. Do you rent firearms at your range?
  10. No, you must bring your own firearm to shoot at the range.

  11. Do you sell ammo?
  12. No, you must bring your own ammo. Shot size must be 7.5 or smaller (8, 8.5, 9).

  13. Are there any firearms that are banned from being shot at the range?
  14. Any shotgun 12 gauge through .410 bore may be used except for "tactical" shotguns having only a pistol hand grip. Shotguns must be fired from the shoulder.

  15. Are food and drinks available at the range?
  16. No food is sold at the range, but during the summer months water and soda are available for $1.00.
